This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the ThaiConnecting website at ThaiConnecting.com (“Website“) or ThaiConnecting mobile application (“App“) herein refered to as "ThaiConnecting" and the associated services as further described below offered through this Website or App (“Service” or “Services”).

When you create a profile on the Website/App, your information may be visible also to users of our other Website/App or any of our Services.
1. The Information We Collect

1.1 Usage Information
We collect information about your activity on our services, for instance how you use them (e.g., date and time you logged in, features you've been using, searches, clicks and pages which have been shown to you, referring webpage address, advertising that you click on) and how you interact with other users (e.g., users you connect and interact with, time and date of your exchanges, number of messages you send and receive).
1.2 Device information
We collect information from and about the device(s) you use to access our services, including:
- hardware and software information such as IP address, device ID and type, device-specific and apps settings and characteristics, app crashes, advertising IDs (such as Google's AAID and Apple's IDFA, both of which are randomly generated numbers that you can reset by going into your device' settings), browser type, version and language, operating system, time zones, identifiers associated with cookies or other technologies that may uniquely identify your device or browser (e.g., IMEI/UDID and MAC address);
- information on your wireless and mobile network connection, like your service provider and signal strength;
- information on device sensors such as accelerometers, gyroscopes and compasses.
1.3 Other information with your consent
If you give us permission, we can collect your precise geolocation (latitude and longitude) through various means, depending on the service and device you're using, including GPS, Bluetooth or WiFi connections. The collection of your geolocation may occur in the background even when you aren't using the services if the permission you gave us expressly permits such collection. If you decline permission for us to collect your geolocation, we will not collect it.
Similarly, if you consent, we may collect your photos and videos (for instance, if you want to publish a photo, video or streaming on the services).
1.4 Cookies
The Website/App and Service also use cookies to keep track of your activities and behaviour on the Service. Through the use of cookies, we can provide you with interest specific content. 1.5 When you Contact Customer Support
If you contact our Customer Support team via our Contact Page, we will receive your email address, and may track your IP address, as well as the information you send to us to help resolve your query. We will keep records of our communications with you, including any complaints that we receive from you about other Users (and from other Users about you) for 10 years after deletion of your account.
2. The Information You Provide
2.1 If you use the Website/App and Service, you may choose to provide personal information as well as photographs of yourself ("personal characteristics") on your profile. Personal characteristics are used to allow other ThaiConnecting members and visitors to the Website/App, to find and access your profile, to determine whether they want to communicate with you and to allow you to participate in the Service that we provide. Anything you choose to provide on your profile is public content.
2.2 While ThaiConnecting members will have access to the personal characteristics (including photographs) you have provided, they will not be given access to your personal details including your email address.
2.3 We will not be responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate content posted on the Website/App or in connection with the Service provided, whether caused by users of the Website/App. Under no circumstances shall we be responsible for any loss or damage from use of the Website/App or the Service or from any Content posted on the Website/App or transmitted to Members, or any interactions between users of the Website/App, whether online or offline. We cannot guarantee and do not promise any specific results from use of the Website/App and/or the Service.
3. The Information We Receive From Others
In addition to the information you provide us directly, we receive information about you from others, including:
3.1 Other Users. Other users may provide information about you as they use our services. For instance, we may collect information about you from other users if they contact us about you.
3.2 Social Media. You may be able to use your social media login (such as Facebook Login) to create and log into your ThaiConnecting account. This saves you from having to remember yet another user name and password and allows you to share some information from your social media account with us.
3.3 Other Partners. We may receive info about you from our partners, for instance where ThaiConnecting ads are published on a partner’s websites and platforms (in which case they may pass along details on a campaign’s success).
4. How We Use Your Personal Information
We use the personal information that we collect about you, or that you provide to us, for the following purposes:
4.1 To fulfill or meet the reason for which the information is provided. For example, to provide our services;
4.2 Create, maintain, customize, and secure your ThaiConnecting account;
4.3 Display your profile and content to other ThaiConnecting users so that you may interact with each other;
4.4 Enable, or add, any in-app purchase products to your ThaiConnecting account;
4.5 Provide customer support, respond to your inquiries, troubleshoot issues, manage our services, and respond to requests, questions, and/or comments;
4.6 Communicate with you about our services, including notifications based on your account settings, service announcements and/or administrative messages;
4.7 Help us better understand how our services are being used by identifying patterns and trends in usage, so that we are able to improve your experience on ThaiConnecting;
4.8 Identify and fix technical errors;
4.9 Maintain the safety, security, and integrity of the Website/App, databases and services, and prevent, detect, identify, investigate, or respond to, potential or actual, claims, liabilities, criminal activity, fraud or malicious activity;
4.10 For testing, research, analytics, and product development, including to develop and improve the Website/App, and services;
4.11 To respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations;
4.12 To achieve purposes for which we provide specific notice at the time of collection;

For the protection of all our members, we will co-operate with government agencies and police enforcement, and may disclose your personal information to assist in their enquiries.
5. Sharing Information With Third Parties
Our Services allow you to share information about yourself with other individuals and other companies, including other users and potential users of the Services or other products or services offered by Company and third-party Social Networking Sites. We may provide your personal characteristics, on an aggregate basis, to potential third party advertisers. We may also provide personal characteristics, including mobile location information to third parties for commercial marketing purposes who will serve advertisements over the Internet.
We may also use your public content, including any photographs, for marketing purposes. Your public content and contact information may also be provided to third parties in order to administer any promotions, email marketing, contests or surveys which ThaiConnecting may wish to conduct from time to time.
We may also share information with others that is not personal information, or that is in an aggregated or anonymous form that does not reasonably identify you directly as an individual or is provided in hashed, non-human readable form.
Unless identified in this policy or otherwise required by law, we will not provide your information to third parties in such a way that would disclose your identity.
6. Retaining Personal Information
In all cases, ThaiConnecting limits the amount and type of information collected to that which is necessary to meet the purposes described above.
6.1 We undertake to keep all personal information ThaiConnecting collects strictly confidential.
6.2 We will only retain personal information for the duration of its intended use or as otherwise required by law.
6.3 Thereafter, all personal information that does not have a specific purpose or that no longer fulfills its intended purpose will be destroyed in a secure fashion.
6.4 We cannot be held reliable for loss of your personal data, and is not responsible for backing up any of your personal data including text/images/video or other. We make no claim that your account data is stored securely, and should data or personal information be leaked either through a user problems or server problems
6.5 You have the ability to access all your personal information on the Website/App and Service at any time. If you have any questions regarding the personal information held by Company, you should contact us. We will respond to any written requests within 30 days of receiving written notice.
We will keep records of enquiries and/or objections and will document their resolution. We will conduct all investigations in a timely, fair and impartial manner.
6.6 Please note that, even after termination of membership and deletion of any personal data, termination of any license granted hereunder, some content may continue to exist because of cached internet pages beyond the control of the Company.

Our services are restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not permit users under the age of 18 on our website/App and we do not knowingly collect any information about children, minors or anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a child, minor or anyone under the age of 18 has registered with us and provided us with personal information, we will take steps to terminate that person’s registration. If you suspect that a user is under the age of 18, please use the reporting mechanism available through the service.

ThaiConnecting may, from time to time, contain links to and from third party websites of our partner networks, advertisers, partner merchants, retailers or affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies. Please always check the privacy policies that apply to a third party site before you provide any information to the website.
12. Acceptance of agreements
By using the Website/App and Service, you consent to the uses indicated in this Privacy Policy. Should you choose, at any time, to withdraw your consent please immediately contact us in writing to advise of this decision.
